Bhasin Properties purchased two warehouses on a single lot with 123,470 square feet between them. Bhasin originally contacted us for one of the buildings, and after a further conversation, the Leyton team was asked to take a look at the second building on the property. After the document review, we were able to confirm with their CPA that we were able to move forward into the energy modeling stage. Through this process we were able to find a deduction amount we were able to move forward with. The final step was to do an on-site visual verification to confirm all the details needed to make sure the property qualified for 179D Tax Deduction.
Bhasin was able to claim a substantial benefit of $145,459.80 over the two warehouses through the 179D Energy Efficient Commercial Building Property Deduction.
