Definition of CleanTech

The interchangeable use of terminologies to classify innovations in sustainable development deserves a brief clarification. In fact, “clean technologies” (also known as green technologies) encompass all products, services, technologies, and processes in the context of sustainable development, i.e. which can be recognized as Environmentally efficient, Economically beneficial, and Socially responsible.

Several sectors of activity

Clean technologies include several sectors of activity, mainly: Renewable energies, Green chemistry, Air, Water, Energy efficiency, Residual waste, Soil and Groundwater, Agri-environment, and Sustainable mobility.
