These three promising start-ups won an opportunity to exhibit at the CES 2022 Eureka Park Marketplace in Las Vegas!

Spain

A startup that offers an alternative source of sustainable protein, by transforming products through a fermentation process and the help of Artificial Intelligence. MOA protein has a great versatility and can be incorporated in a multitude of applications

France

The startup is developing organic photovoltaic cells (OPV), which can be encapsulated in sails in order to aim for energy autonomy in boats and airships. They are flexible, semi-transparent and biodegradable, making them easier to use and above all limiting their environmental footprint

Spain

A startup that decodes brain and nerve signals and translates them into medical solutions using graphene, the thinnest material known to man to build the new generation of neural interfaces for brain restoration to help patients around the world

CES is the world’s largest platform for everyone who thrives on the business of consumer technology. It has served as the proving ground for innovators and breakthrough technology for 50 years — the global stage where next-generation innovations are introduced to the marketplace.

Your own booth at Eureka Park

The winners of the contest will have their own booth at CES Eureka Park, the primary stage for start-ups where new ideas are funded, new partnerships are formed and new acquisitions take place. Investors come to Eureka Park to find their next unicorn. Global media come to look for their next story. Corporations come to look for partnerships and acquisitions.

Free R&D funding consultation

A lifetime opportunity to present your start-up to the world! Whether your innovative project is Tech for Good, GreenTech or HealthTech, you’re qualified to win and receive a free consultation from Leyton on your eligibility for innovation funding such as R&D Tax Credits or grants.

Contest timeline & key dates

    Sep 1st – Oct 3rd

    Applications open! Submit a 10 slide presentation of your project in PPT or PDF format.

    Oct 6th – 7th

    Country juries meet to select 2 finalists to proceed to Round 2 of the challenge.

    Oct 13th

    ROUND 2: All finalists (2 start-ups/country) pitch in front of an international jury virtually!

    Oct 15th

    International jury meets to select 3 winning start-ups. Final winners announced!

    Oct 16th – December

    Receive your approval to exhibit at CES Eureka Park, go through your onboarding process, sales pitch training & booth design.

    January 5 -8, 2022

Why did Leyton launch this contest?

Since it was founded 20 years ago, Leyton has committed to help businesses be more sustainable, by identifying additional revenue streams for their environmental transformation or for social projects.

Leyton has recently launched an international program that aims to increase our actions to support and fund innovative sustainable projects. Part of this program is the Leyton CES 2022 Challenge – this contest is about promoting the best early stage Tech for Good, GreenTech and HealthTech projects in 7 different countries in Europe and North America.
