The Eureka Eurostars Programme is an international initiative that provides funding to support collaborative research and development projects led by innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a focus on creating market-ready products, processes, or services.
Funding amounts differ by country, as each participating nation has its own rules. Generally, SMEs can receive funding for up to 50% of eligible project expenses.
To apply, the leading organization must be an innovative SME from a Eurostars member country, and the project must involve partners from at least two different countries. Additionally, the budget allocated to the SMEs must represent at least 50% of the total project costs.
Key eligibility criteria include:
●The project must include participants from at least two different countries.
●No single participant can exceed 70% of the total project budget.
●The duration of the project cannot exceed 36 months.
●Projects should have a civilian focus.
