The PSCE program (Commercialization and Export Support Program) has officially reopened! If you lead an SME with growth ambitions outside of Quebec, now is the time to act.

However, don’t let the technical documentation from Investissement Québec slow you down. At Leyton, we’ve simplified the new rules to help you move from reading to execution.

Stream 2: Your Priority for Exporting

The current intake will focus on Stream 2, dedicated to companies looking to conquer markets outside of Quebec. Here are the major changes to keep in mind:

  • A very short window: The program is open only from January 15 to January 29, 2026. You have only two weeks to submit your application!
  • Targeted territory: For this first Winter 2026 cycle, only projects exporting from Quebec to the rest of Canada are eligible.
  • New funding cap: The maximum PSCE grant is now $60,000 per company (down from $100,000 previously), for the company’s first applications to the program.

What funding can you obtain?

The aid rate is now on a declining scale, meaning the Quebec government is specifically encouraging new projects:

  • 50% of expenses for a 1st project.
  • 40% for a 2nd project.
  • 25% for subsequent projects.

Note: The total cumulative government aid cannot exceed 65% of your project cost.

How do you know if your business is eligible?

To benefit from the PSCE export program, you must meet these simple criteria:

  • Be a for-profit company with an establishment in Quebec.
  • Have annual revenue between $1M and $50M.
  • Prove that 40% of your revenue is “self-generated” (derived from your economic activities).
  • Minimum spending: You must plan for an investment of at least $50,000 for a first-time application.

Next Steps: How Leyton’s experts can support you

Marketing your products nationwide requires fast execution. Since the support program lasts only 14 days, preparation is key.

  • Audit your expenses: Salaries for new sales reps, exhibition at trade shows, or digital marketing strategies.
  • Prepare your file: Don’t waste time with complex paperwork.
  • Consult an expert: We help companies maximize their PSCE Quebec funding while ensuring full compliance with the new Investissement Québec standards.
