Based in Tampa, Florida, the firm focuses on developing multi-family residential properties, high-end condominiums, and commercial properties, primarily in the Tampa Bay region.<\/div>\n<div class=\"case-card\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/us\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/2024\/05\/inside-TH.jpg\" alt=\"Details Of Their Qualifying Building\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2>Details Of Their Qualifying Building<\/h2>\n<p>Developed by DDA Development, <a href=\"https:\/\/ddadevelopment.com\/portfolio\/the-heights-at-gracepoint\/\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>The Heights<\/strong><\/mark><\/a> at Gracepoint is a three-story building with 55 units. Seventy percent of the units are reserved for people with disabilities or residents who are 65 and older. Throughout this building, DDA installed LED lighting with motion sensors, an excellent building envelope, and a great HVAC system, making this project a perfect candidate for the <a href=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/us\/energy-efficiency-incentives\/45l-energy-efficient-home-tax-credit\/\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\"><strong>45L Tax Credit<\/strong>.<\/mark><\/a> When we did the field inspection, the building was nearly brand new, overperforming IECC 2006 standards, and had been placed into service in 2020.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"case-card\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/us\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/4\/files\/2024\/05\/elivator.jpg\" alt=\"The Benefit\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2>The Benefit<\/h2>\n<p>DDA was able to claim a substantial credit by building 64 units to meet the energy efficiency criteria specified in the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/us\/energy-efficiency-incentives\/45l-energy-efficient-home-tax-credit\/\"><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-primary-color\">\u00a745L Tax Credit.<\/mark><\/a><\/strong> This tax credit represents a significant financial benefit of <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\">$128,000<\/mark><\/strong> at <strong><mark class=\"has-inline-color has-secondary-color\">$2,000<\/mark><\/strong> a unit and direct savings on their tax liability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p>The highlights of working with Leyton were great communication, easy-to-understand process\/schedule, and overall professionalism from all team members.
