FRONT previously worked with a different provider to claim R&D Tax Credits but found the process to be very time-consuming, especially when compared to the amount of relief they received in return. Leyton took a fresh approach, helping FRONT to claim for a much broader range of projects in a faster, more efficient way. As a result, FRONT received a significantly higher financial benefit, helping them with their future growth plans.<\/p>\n

Leyton came across really well in our initial meetings. We had a long chat about our research and development, and they gave me

Is there a highlight from working with Leyton?<\/p>\n

\u201cThe amount that we’ve claimed was definitely higher than I anticipated.<\/p>\n

We\u2019d claimed R&D in the past with another provider, who approached things project-by-project.<\/p>\n

For example, out of all of our projects they selected the best six and claimed for just those six.<\/p>\n

Leyton put a robust argument together to say this particular selection of projects was representative of the level of R&D that FRONT conducts across the board. That significantly opened up what we could claim on, so we ended up with what I’d consider a really good return on our investment. Year on year, it\u2019s halved our corporation tax bill.\u201d<\/p>\n

What advice would you give to others?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not specialists in R&D, so without outside support we just wouldn\u2019t have made a claim. They’ve helped us navigate the R&D legislation to an extent that was way beyond our understanding or ability.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s great is that they did this in such a quick and efficient way. We were very happy with the turnaround time.\u201d<\/p>\n

I think a lot of people underestimate the benefits of claiming, especially large organisations who get bogged down with the day-to-day running of things. But if the projects are right, it’s worth the effort. A lot of people would be really surprised about what R&D Tax Credits can get you.\u201d<\/p>\n
