Leyton UK appoints Clare Hammersley as new Managing Director


We are delighted to announce that Clare Hammersley will be replacing William Garvey as Managing Director of Leyton UK. The announcement is part of a planned succession programme which has seen Clare and William working together closely for the past year. William will continue to support the transition into the Summer.

Clare is currently Head of Sales at the firm and has driven the commercial development of the Leyton UK over the past eight years. She has over 20 years’ experience in business development roles and brings strong commercial focus and leadership to the Company as it builds on its position as the UK leader in innovation funding consultancy.  

William founded our UK operations in 2009. Since then, the business has grown significantly, becoming the market leader in its sector with 260 staff in the UK and new offices opening in Manchester, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
