The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) offers SR&amp;ED benefits in the form of:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Investment Tax Credit (ITC)<\/strong>: A tax credit based on eligible R&amp;D expenditures. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Refunds<\/strong>: Cash refunds to offset some of the expenses associated with R&amp;D activities. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Income Tax Deductions<\/strong>: Deductions for R&amp;D expenses. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/ca\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/3\/files\/2024\/10\/startup-1.png\" alt=\"startup\" class=\"wp-image-32609\" \/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>The province of <strong>Alberta <\/strong>has been making significant progress in tech-related fields.
