Les quantit\u00e9s de particules qui peuvent rester sur la route vont n\u00e9cessairement \u00eatre transport\u00e9es par les pluies diluviennes et contribuent \u00e0 la pollution aux microplastiques\u202fdans les rivi\u00e8res et ultimement dans les oc\u00e9ans. <\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qu&#8217;advient-il des particules d&#8217;usure des pneus et des freins ?<\/h2>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Les particules plus petites, de l\u2019\u00e9chelle micro et nano, peuvent \u00eatre assez petites pour \u00eatre transport\u00e9es dans l\u2019air et \u00eatre respir\u00e9es (2).&nbsp; Joshi et al (3) ont \u00e9tudi\u00e9 si les micros et nanoparticules d\u2019usure des pneus peuvent p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans notre circulation sanguine et\/ou traverser les barri\u00e8res cellulaires, et quels dommages ces particules et leurs produits chimiques constitutifs causent \u00e0 notre sant\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Des  \u00e9tudes \u00e9pid\u00e9miologiques\u202font montr\u00e9 aussi les effets n\u00e9fastes de l\u2019exposition aux particules dues \u00e0 l\u2019usure des pneus au contact de la route et des freins. En effet, les pneus produisent  plus d&#8217;une tonne de particules ultrafines ( 23 nanom\u00e8tres) par kilom\u00e8tre parcouru . Leurs tailles leur permet de p\u00e9n\u00e9trer dans les organes via la circulation sanguine (4) et peuvent conduire \u00e0 des cas d\u2019inflammation ou engendrer des cancers dans les cas les plus graves.  <\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/ca\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/3\/files\/2024\/09\/driving-1024x349.png\" alt=\"particules \" class=\"wp-image-32286\" \/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Peut-on pr\u00e9venir la pollution due \u00e0 l&#8217;usure des pneus et des freins ?<\/h2>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Si le d\u00e9veloppement actuel des  v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques permet de r\u00e9duire la pollution au CO2, il ne permettra pas en revanche de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions des<strong> particules issues de l\u2019usure des pneus et de freinages<\/strong>.  Les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques sont plus lourds peuvent avoir un couple de roues plus importantes entra\u00eenant une production plus importante de particules. <\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>D\u2019apr\u00e8s un rapport de l\u2019OCDE (5),<strong>\u202f<\/strong>la pollution issue de l\u2019usure des pneus\u202f au contact de la route et des freins, va devenir la pollution principale des voitures d\u2019ici 2030 et par cons\u00e9quent elles d\u00e9passent le pot d\u2019\u00e9chappement en tant que source majeure d\u2019\u00e9missions des v\u00e9hicules.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Les micro et nanoparticule sont difficiles \u00e0 mesurer et ne sont actuellement r\u00e9glement\u00e9s ni dans l\u2019UE ni en Am\u00e9rique du Nord.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>De nouvelles solutions doivent \u00eatre mises en place pour la captation des <strong>particules destin\u00e9e aux freins et l\u2019usure des pneus<\/strong>.
