The initiative will provide <strong>$250 million over three fiscal years<\/strong> from 2021-2022 to 2023-2024.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Canada\u2019s regional development agencies (RDAs) can contribute up to <strong>$10 million<\/strong> per project. The contributions will be zero-interest repayable or conditionally repayable for SMEs and it even can be non repayable for not-for-profit or Indigenous organizations.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p><strong><u>Who is eligible?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>You are a small or medium company or a not-for-profit organization providing services to SMEs.<\/li>\n<li>You operate in the aerospace industry, being defined as aerospace manufacturing and aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Here are some example of eligible activities: Aircraft assemblies, and parts; flight simulators ; prototypes for aerospace products ; space systems ; telecommunication satellites and components&nbsp;; avionics ; helicopters, propellers and parts ; aircraft maintenance and components ; aircraft inspection, testing and maintenance services\u2026<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Your project falls under one of the three following objectives:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>You want to green your operations and embrace environmentally sustainable practices by adopting and commercializing clean tech products and services or with the electrification of your production to support a lower carbon footprint<\/li>\n<li>You are looking for productivity improvement with advanced <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/ca\/en\/manufacturing-invest-in-digital-transformation-through-rd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">manufacturing equipment<\/a><\/strong>, industry 4.0 solutions, scale-up of high-potential firms, artificial intelligence and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/ca\/en\/blockchain-claim-back-costs-on-your-innovative-projects\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cybersecurity systems<\/a><\/strong>, or workforce and skills development.<\/li>\n<li>You want to strengthen commercialization while furthering integration into regional and global supply chains by integrating new start-ups and new technologies in key aspects of the value chain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>If you fulfill these three criteria, you can benefit from ARRI and <strong>obtain government funding to develop your growth project.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p><strong><u>How to improve the odds for your project?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>The ARRI prioritizes projects that contribute to at least one of the following:<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Transitioning towards greener products and operations or environmentally sustainable practices;<\/li>\n<li>Generating important economic benefits and promoting business development in regions;<\/li>\n<li>Improving inclusivity and diversity;<\/li>\n<li>Supporting digital adoption and enhanced cybersecurity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/leyton.com\/ca\/wp-content\/blogs.dir\/3\/files\/2022\/11\/ARRI-article-1024x349.png\" alt=\"ARRI-article\" class=\"wp-image-19409\" \/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p><strong><u>What can you expense within the framework of the funding?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>You can include different expenses in your project, which are divided into 4 main themes:<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Labour expenses such as salaries and benefits for individuals employed for the project;<\/li>\n<li>Expertise fees from professional, technical personnel, consultants, engineers or contractors;<\/li>\n<li>Facility renovation or construction, site improvements, leasehold improvements and related costs to support the outcomes of the project;<\/li>\n<li>Equipment purchase and installation including machinery or software directly related to, or necessary for, the completion of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Furthermore, you can also ask for any other direct project costs.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p><strong><u>What are the technical and practical aspects of the program?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>Once your eligibility is confirmed, you need to gather all relevant information and to structure your project before presenting it to your <em>Canada\u2019s Regional Development Agency. <\/em>You can ask between $500,000 and up to $10 million.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p>We can help you completing the application for funding and the supplemental annex with the appropriate documents attached.
